2022 - now: DIY Electronics
Big part of my work is DIY electronics culture & community and a love for preservation of physical pieces of electronic music history. Through books, the internet, workshops, trial and error - I've learned to build my own electric instruments and modify legacy hardware machine. My interest and knowledge have been strongly influenced by Veerle Pennock. She runs Acid Solder Club in Utrecht the Netherlands, organising workshops, sharing knowledge, bringing people together and inspiring people to build and create. She does amazing work in the scene of DIY electronic music, circuitbending and and noise music.
2016 - 2022: Indian Classical Music Education
My way of performing music was strongly shaped when I was a student of Indian Classical Music and the Sitar under Darshan Kumari in Amsterdam. The delicate drone sound of the Tanpura, the improvised melodies, completely different song structure and the rhythmical patterns opened new ways for me to make music.
